Data minimization
Public browsing does not require an account. If you join the community, we store your email with our authentication provider, public profile fields, 18+ attestation timestamp, policy-acceptance versions, preferences, posts, drafts, group memberships, connections, messages, reports, blocks, notifications, and security/audit events needed to operate the service.
Newsletter
Subscriptions require email confirmation. Resend manages delivery and unsubscribe preferences. Topic selections and signup placement are stored to honor the reader's choices and measure form performance.
Analytics and errors
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure aggregate use and performance. Sentry is configured without intentional personally identifiable information collection. Provider processing is subject to their own policies.
Messages and moderation
Direct messages are limited to accepted mutual connections and are not end-to-end encrypted. Staff cannot browse direct messages unless a user reports a specific message. Report evidence is limited to what is needed for safety review and auditability.
Access, export, and deletion
Signed-in members can export their account data and request deletion. Profiles, posts, and media are removed from public view immediately; messages become non-identifying tombstones; final account purge follows a 30-day recovery period. Email [email protected] if account controls are unavailable.
